How You Can Help

What Can I Do?

Theatre is a collaborative art. Every successful theatre depends on the efforts of countless individuals doing their part. Some jobs are large, many are small, but each is vital to our success. We at Willamette STAGE Company would love to have you join us. Together we are bringing provocative, professional live theatre to our community — right here in the heart of the mid-Willamette Valley.

Give your time

Willamette STAGE Company is a non-profit business that produces theatre. In addition to the enormous effort involved in producing our plays, we have to do all the other things any successful business must do: promote our products, seek and develop multiple sources of revenue, manage people and budgets and data, create and maintain a relationship with our community, and more. That means we need help with all kinds of tasks, many of them only indirectly involved in the actual productions.

We are especially looking for:

  • Fund-raising
  • Program ad sales
  • Box Office staff and ushers

We also need people to:

  • assist at rehearsals
  • find or make stage props
  • distribute posters and information
  • provide clerical support

As a volunteer, you won’t just make Willamette STAGE Company tick, you’ll have a great time doing it! To find out more about volunteer opportunities with Willamette STAGE Company, contact to our Volunteer Coordinator, Johanna Spencer by email or leave a message for her on our Box Office line at 541.368.7092.

Spread the Word

Here’s what you can do to help put Willamette STAGE Company on the map:

  • Talk to your friends and coworkers about Willamette STAGE Company. Ask them to visit our website. Bring them to our shows.
  • Subscribe to our email information list and forward our information on to your email contacts.
  • Let us know about promotional opportunities, arts events calendars, etc. that we can participate in.
  • Find us on FaceBook – and “like” us to share our page and our events with your friends!

Financial support

An enterprise like Willamette STAGE Company costs money; every production we do requires facilities, sets, lights, costumes, props, royalties, programs, and more. Ticket sales alone won’t cover our costs. We depend on sponsors and donors to help.

And remember: Willamette STAGE Company is a registered 501 c(3) charity, and contributions are tax-deductible. All donors will receive a printed receipt with wSc’s federal tax identification number. Learn more about donation and sponsorship opportunities.

It’s Up to All of Us

Strong arts organizations help strengthen communities. Together, we are building a theatre that not only flourishes, but that is an essential part of the cultural fabric of our community. Please join us in that effort.
