The Darkside Cinema
Located on Fourth Street between Madison and Jefferson, The Darkside Cinema is open every night, showing the best in art, independent, and foreign films. Come experience the friendly, casual atmosphere, cheap snack bar, and low admission prices. With four intimate auditoriums, three with 35mm projection and two with digital projection, the Darkside shows the best films in town. Bag and Baggage Productions
Scott Palmer’s Bag and Baggage Productions is a Portland-based touring company that specializes in powerful small-cast adaptations of classic works. The company established its mid-valley reputation last year with a rollicking performance of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Reduced. Locally, Palmer directs OSU’s Bard in the Quad series, which presented Romeo & Juliet in 2006 and Much Ado About Nothing in 2007; A Midsummer Night’s Dream is scheduled for summer 2008.
